 Solo Guitar
Richard brings more than 35 years of experience to each event. He performs solo classical jazz guitar, unaccompanied nylon string guitar or jazz chord melody style guitar. Vocals, at times are added. He also can perform with sequenced rhythm tracks that create the sound of a complete rhythm selection with bass and drums – very smooth and soft, perfect for small gatherings, cocktail parties and fine dining events.

 Jazz Duo & Trio
Richard also performs with his duo and jazz trio. The duo adds the wonderful sound of the upright acoustic bass. Such friends as LA pros Jack Bone or Armando Compean help to add the smooth sound. Never overpowering, adding just the right touch for any event. Always great reviews wherever they perform.

Clinics & Instruction
Richard is a product clinic specialist and performs at NAMM and music store and school events. He also teaches a limited number of students. He uses and endorses Polytone musical instrument amplifliers and uses a Mini Brute Five.

Q) How much do you charge for a performance?
A) Final price depends on a number of factors: location, hours, and size of ensemble. Please give me a call for a quotation.
Q) Do you travel?
A) I live in the south bay area of Southern California and most of my work is here, though I do travel to Palm Springs, San Diego,
Hawaii, etc on occasion. Please contact me to discuss availability and fees.
Q) Do you do clinics at stores or schools?
A) Yes. Please contact me with specifics about your store or school, what your dates are, if the event is sponsored by a manufacturer, and what type of clinic you have in mind.
Q) Do you book other musical entertainment?
A) With the exception of booking solo pianists for private events, I no longer handle bookings for other musicians.
